"Leso-what?"

Lesotho, pronounced Leh-soo-too, is where I will be spending the next 27 months of my life.  I chose to teach maths (British thing) to high school students.  The first three months I will live with a host family and spend the days studying their language Sesotho, pronounced Seh-soo-too, and learning how to become a teacher.  Upon completion of the training program I will be assigned a region, school, community, and hut.  The remainder of the 24 months will be spent teaching and serving the Basotho, pronounced Bah-soo-too, people to the best of my abilities.

So in short I'm traveling to Lesotho to learn Sesotho in order to teach the Basotho maths.  Clear?
